Today I thought of sharing a poem by an American poet H. W. Longfellow instead of writing one of my own as I wanted to read and share motivational literature. As we are going through humanitarian crisis nowadays in this world, I feel ache in my heart for every harsh word I have spoken, every harm I might have done consciously or unconsciously and every second that was not lived graciously. There also comes crisis at some point when we feel that life would have taken an altogether different course had we taken another route. It’s like thinking of the road not taken. I know that we shouldn’t regret or think about the past but life could have been more simple and relaxed. I made choices that complicated it. Time is flying and span of life is getting shortened with each breath taken. I should make the most of what is left of my life now. This poem sums up this theme and inspires me to go ahead.
